The January 6th incident for Bay Area punks and a great start to the New Year. 
The week of the show there was historic levels of rain hitting California and with that came extreme flooding in San Francisco. I went with two other friends and luckly the day of the show was the one day it didnt rain all week. The show was set to board at 7 and even when though we arrived 30 minutes early the station was packed. I immediatly noticed the high ammount of photographers and interviewers amoung the crowd. 
When the 7PM train came everone dog piled into the last car (even though they would have to switch cars later). on the way there multiple interviews were going on at the same time, Chemical Victim was there selling zines under a coat, and everyone cheered at each stop when there was another punk to pick up. at one point the lights went out and people went crazy with graffiti. I wish i got more photos of it but my favorites were: "we love BART" "Boobies" and Allen's beautiful Homer Simpson. When we got to Dublin everyone rushed out confused on where to go, I personally think that Cody tried to get half the crowd to get on the wrong train but someone stopped him before that could happen. When the train finally came we all piled back into the last car and it was even more packed than before. We took up about 4 cars in total, I ended up in the car with the band and my friends were stuck in the 3rd car. Its hard to describe how wet this show was, a mix of spilled drinks and sweat. It was so packed that when the doors opened at each stop people would fall out, still people from the other cars would try to squeeze in anyway. My favorite part of the show was the people crowd surfing and hanging off the bars. about half way through the show I left the car to find my friends and watch the rest of the shitshow from afar. I ate the floor cake. Im not exactly sure why we were stopped in Fruitvale, I think the train got too heavy to function and someones vape got stuck in the door, there was someone climbing on the train and I think they were arrested, or so I gather from the crowd follwing the cops chanting "let him go". The station was shut down and we called an uber and went home. good show 9/10 Here is a little thing I drew from the show. I sumbitted it to Chemical Victim zine vol 10.
